Medical Equipment Testing
Medical electrical safety tests are performed using specialist medical equipment safety analysers that are configured to meet IEC 62353 standards. All healthcare organisations are required to comply with relevant safety legislation, including the Electricity at Work Regulations (EWR) and the Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA).

Medical Device Calibration
At Mediquip Ltd, our calibration and testing services are delivered by engineers with strong, hands-on experience across medical and veterinary environments. Every engineer follows a structured in-house training programme, supported by manufacturer-led training where applicable, so our methods reflect the equipment you use and the standards you’re measured against.

Veterinary Anaesthetics
Veterinary anaesthetic servicing involves the essential, typically annual, inspection and calibration of equipment to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. It includes, at minimum, pressure testing, vaporizer calibration, and thorough cleaning to prevent, leaks and malfunctions. Qualified engineers should perform these services, which often include check-ups for AGSS, and oxygen systems.

Flexible & Medical Pipeline Installations
We at Mediquip UK carry out flexible hose and medical gas pipeline installation services, including new installs, alterations, and upgrades, with testing and commissioning to ensure everything is safe, compliant and ready for use.

Emergency Resuscitators
Servicing Emergency Resuscitators is critical because they’re life-saving devices that may be needed with no warning — and they must work first time, every time. Regular servicing helps confirm the unit is delivering the correct pressures and flow, the demand valve and patient controls operate properly, seals and connectors remain leak-free, and alarms (where fitted) function as intended.
Medical-Regulator
Medical Regulators
Servicing medical regulators is essential because they control the pressure and flow of medical gases — and if they drift out of spec, leak, or fail, it can directly impact patient care and staff safety. Regular servicing confirms the regulator delivers stable, accurate outlet pressure, that relief/safety valves operate correctly, and that seals, gauges, connectors, and O-rings remain secure and leak-free.

Defibrillators
Did you know that AED’S / Defibrillators come under the governments Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER). Defibrillators (AEDs) should be maintained regularly to ensure they are ready to use in an emergency. This includes checking the batteries and pads, performing a full health check annually, and updating readiness indicators.

Ambulance Servicing
Servicing ambulance medical equipment is especially important because it’s used in unpredictable, high-pressure environments where reliability can directly affect patient outcomes. Regular servicing helps ensure devices remain accurate, safe and ready for immediate use, even after constant movement, vibration, knocks, temperature changes and frequent cleaning.

Humphrey ADE Circle Units
Servicing Humphrey ADE Circle Units is important because they’re designed for very low-flow, highly efficient anaesthesia, so any drift, leak or sticking valve can quickly affect ventilation, CO₂ control and overall patient safety.
